Therapy Session Costs
Each Therapy Session is billed at the rate of $90-120. Therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes. If more time is needed or requested, billing will be adjusted accordingly.
If your case requires additional services, such as filling out paperwork or writing letters to third parties, a fee can be assessed. Also, fees may be charged for the administration of assessments.
Third Party Payees (Clergy, Family, Bishops)
I do accept payment for third party payees which includes family, clergy, etc. When requested and authorized, your signature on the intake paperwork allows me to contact them for billing purposes.
I am on a the following insurance panels, with a specific interest in serving those in our community who are in the public service sector:
- PEHP (State of Utah Employees)
- Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Utah (Washington County School District. and Federal Employees on BCBS Federal)
- Tricare West (Military and Veterans. I'm also Credentialed with the VA to take referrals and payments to VA-eligible vets)
I am also contracted/affiliated with Blomquist-Hale and Magellan EAPs, and Vocational Rehab. Often I can bill your insurance as an out-of-network provider. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider on what services they will pay, and whether or not my services are covered. Often, marriage or family therapy is NOT covered by insurance. Clients are responsible to pay co-pays and meet their deductible. I can always provide a statement/Superbill that you can provide to your insurance to seek reimbursement.
Accepted Forms of Payment
I accept health savings cards, flex spending cards, cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Please have payment at each session unless otherwise arranged.
All appointments must be cancelled with at least a 24 hours notice. If you miss a scheduled session without canceling 24 hours prior to the appointment, you will be charged the seesion fee that can generally not be charged to insurance or some third-arty payers. Exceptions will be made for emergencies and illness.
